C.1870. Pair of Victorian Matching Bangles

C.1870-1880. A fabulous pair of Victorian matching bangles. These are often called ‘wedding bracelets’ as a bride-to-be would receive them upon engagement. We were lucky to find such amazing ones still in a pair, as they were often separated between daughters or sisters. These bangles are sterling silver based and gilded with gold. These look very modern and chic even after 150 years. Wear them on each wrist, or stack them together. The wide and chunky scale offers a bold presence. The push-in clasps are both in good working order. And overall the bangles are in great condition with the natural patina. No missing details.
