A beautiful pair of antique Persian gold and enamel earrings. The earrings date early 19th century (Qajar period, 1789-1925). Each earring is different, and they are adorned with colorful enameling, and the bottom of the earrings have pearls and gold leaf fringes. The earrings test around 22 karat. The ear wires are new and secure, and they are 14k gold. Each earring has one leaf replacement among the hanging fringe leaves, yet hardly noticeable when worn. (shown in the photo.) There are some enamel losses due to the age. The earrings hang beautifully, and overall in good and wearable condition.
Total Drop: Approximately 1.85 & 1.90” (including the front wire)
