A beautifully made mid-Victorian gold and pavé turquoise bangle. The bangle has rope-motif details on its center body and each outer edge. Having the equal design to the back panel including four more pavé turquoise domes shows more time consuming work and a finer quality. The bangle tests slightly higher than 14k gold, and weighs 48 grams. The color disparity in turquoise is natural. The hinge and push clasp are all secure and in great working order. With normal surface wear of age and use, the bangle shows lovely old patina on gold. The overall condition of this piece is very good.
