C.1780-1800. A gorgeous late 18th century sepia miniature pin/pendant. The finely executed sizable navette-shaped miniature painting depicts a young lady gently holding a dove released from its cage. A dove symbolizes peace or holy spirit. The pin is 15k gold, and the foiled paste stones around the frame are clear and bright. Overall in very good condition.
