C.1800. A lovely pair of Georgian black dot paste earrings. The earrings have an oval-shaped flower design, and its simplicity makes the earrings very wearable. The pair were most likely once buttons, and later made into earrings with 15k gold ear wires. The beautifully done foiled-back setting provides luminous light reflection. The earrings are set in sterling silver with closed back. Some signs of wear shown on the surface. Overall in good condition.
