C.1870-1880. A very pretty antique French pearl flower locket. This 18k gold locket is large, and has seven flowers that are adorned with pearls. The pearls are all in the same size, and have a consistent creamy color with beautiful luster. The locket has the original matching bail that is set with four small pearls in graduated sizes. There are two photo compartments with glass covers inside. The locket bears French 18k gold 'horse head' hallmark (1838-1919). The weight of the locket is substantial (29.2g).  Overall the locket is in very good condition.
