Victorian Turquoise and Gold Padlock Bangle

Victorian Turquoise and Gold Padlock Bangle

C.1890s. A very charming turquoise and gold padlock bangle. The bangle has turquoise cabochon studs that represent the key hole. A padlock was a romantic motif that was often used in Victorian period to symbolize 'key to my heart' or 'heart locked with love'. The bangle is made of 15k rose gold. The clasp works perfectly, and the safety chain is attached for extra security. Overall the bangle is in great condition.
