A lovely early 19th Century garnet and diamond half hoop ring. Three garnets and four collet set tiny diamonds form the face of the ring. The diamonds are set in silver, and the garnets are in 18k rose gold. We love the simple and original shank, and it is 18k yellow gold. The shank has a few hallmarks left (most likely continental European), but over the years, they have become illegible. The stones have an open back setting. The garnets glow beautifully in a deep red hue with light. Overall the ring is in good and wearable condition.
