C.1840. A beautiful quality early Victorian double row diamond ring. This stunning half hoop ring has very lively diamonds, and the stones have an open back setting for more practical wear. The ring is composed of twenty old mine cut diamonds: nine on each row and one bigger stone at each end. The diamonds are set in silver, and overall the stones are bright and clear. Unlike the modern diamonds, old cut diamonds have a soft and romantic character that we adore. The total weight of the stones is approximately 1.6ctw in this ring. And the shank is 14k-15k yellow gold.
The ring is beautiful on its own or stacked together with another ring. Overall it is in great condition.
