C.1780-1800. A charming late 18th century turquoise pendant set in high carat gold (18k tested) with central enamel featuring a lovely woman's profile. The center is crafted in brown and white enamel, and that makes a beautiful color combination with the vivid turquoise hues. The central enamel frame also is surrounded by the details of gold granulation and rope work. The pendant has a closed back setting. The color disparity in turquoise stones is natural. Overall the pendant is in good condition with normal surface wear.
