C.1880. A large Victorian Etruscan revival garnet paste tassel pendant and chain. Its size and unique, bold appearance makes it a statement piece; it is made of gilt metal in a soft gold tone. The tassels are all intact, and there are no dents on the piece. The back of the pendant is a photo locket, bearing a photograph of a well-dressed Victorian lady in a black outfit. The pendant looks stunning when worn, and is paired with this Victorian gilt long muff chain, that has a rosy tone. The pendant has a brooch fitting as well.
- Total Drop: Approximately 3” (including bale and tassels) / 1.5” (only pendant without bale)
- Width: Approximately 1.25” (pendant)
- Chain: Approximately 53.75"
Overall, the piece is in very good condition with a lovely patina.
