C.1880. A superb Victorian silver gilded snake necklace. The gorgeous snake collar wraps around a neck comfortably. The chunky body coils around the snake's head at its center.  It is beautifully textured, and crafted with two ruby eyes. The clasp works properly and closes with a good click. The necklace is seamless when worn with a clasp that doesn't interfere with the design. The inside measurement is approximately just under 17". Outer measurement is about 20.25". Overall it is in great condition.
