Pair of Heavy Vintage Sterling Silver Bangles

Pair of Heavy Vintage Sterling Silver Bangles

A pair of vintage sterling silver bangles—1960s Danish minimalism meets the bold spirit of 1970s Mexican silver.

The heavy round one is by Hans Hansen from 1967, a quintessential piece created at the height of the Danish Modernist movement. It offers a rich tactile experience, weighing a substantial 78.35 grams. The design is minimalist yet impactful, featuring fluid lines and a high-polish finish that emphasizes the sculptural form of the silver.
This piece bears a full signature: “Hans Hansen,” “925S,” and the design model number “211.” Adding to its provenance, the interior features two small hallmarks proving it was imported to London in 1967 by Danish Silver Designs (DSD). These include the London Import Mark—a distinct crossed-circle symbol—and the lowercase date letter "m" for the year 1967.

The other bangle is a 1970s Mexican silver one with a bold, asymmetrical silhouette that is both simple and unique. Marked “MEX 925,” it features a sleek and distinctive flat profile that we particularly love. At 54.6 grams, it carries a weight that feels great on the wrist.

The contrast between these two distinct geometries creates an ultra-chic, curated look. They can be worn stacked together (they have such a satisfying "clink"!) or styled individually on each wrist. Both bangles have been beautifully preserved and are in excellent vintage condition.
