C.1890s. A unique and fun pair of Victorian banded agate drop earrings. The stripe-patterned banded agate orbs are well complemented by corresponding sterling silver spheres and spiral bars. Crafted entirely in sterling silver, including the ear wires, the design shows a surprising, modern sensibility. They weigh 6.8 and 6.9 grams, respectively. The agates show a few minor, shallow surface nicks consistent with their age, but the overall condition is very good, with all elements secure.
