C.1980s. A vintage Mexican sterling silver collar necklace. It shows a strong and modern design inspired by the prominent Mexican silversmiths William Spratling and Antonio Pineda. The seventeen chunky silver links consist of the necklace, and the collar sits around the neck beautifully. The circular pattern decorates every other links, and the clasp has the matching design that completes the collar fluidly. The necklace is well-constructed, and has a substantial weight feel. The clasp is secure, and works properly with a good click. The necklace is overall in great condition with normal surface wear and silver patina.
