Dating from the late 19th to the early 20th century, this beautifully crafted sterling silver llavero (key chain) features a flowers-and-leaves motif. The slide-in top allows it to be worn around the waistband of any garment. This key chain includes a large ring, situated behind the front panel, for holding keys. This ring has an opening hinge in the shape of a small "wing." Along the ring, it bears the inscription PALOMINA PAGILA. Spanish in origin
