A stunning Georgian silver and red paste pendant/brooch. C.1790-1800. Its rich and bright red color foil set pleasingly contrasts with the flat-cut, fine quality red paste stones. The stones are deep in hue, and beautifully foil-backed. The top central stone has a small chip (at lower left) that is hardly noticeable, yet doesn't affect the beauty of this piece. It was originally a brooch, now converted to pendant for both wearability.
It measures approximately 55mm x 44mm. (2.25" x 1.75")
Overall in Good Condition.
