A beautiful and classic large heart locket. The locket is crafted in 18k gold, and fully English hallmarked: '18' for 18k gold, Chester (England), 'H' for the year 1908, and the maker's mark 'AW'. It is much larger than the ones that are usually made in this period. The locket is simple and clean with no engravings on the back- only the tiny hallmarks at the bottom are seen. We were lucky to find one in this scale that has no engravings. The locket has a teeny dot-like dent to the back. (shown in the photo.) Overall the locket is in great condition.
