A late 19th century to early 20th century antique French filigree chain necklace. The chain is 18k gold, and each link is crafted beautifully like 'lace'. The links are designed as a series of openwork quatrefoils, and they lay nicely flat around the chest. The links are substantial, not flimsy in hand. A French eagle hallmark is seen near the clasp. Overall the chain is in very good condition.
