C.1860. A 18k gold collar necklace. Each link consists of a shield with fine pierced open work. The necklace lays comfortably around the neck. It is not only beautiful aesthetically, but is also functional with adjustable lengths in 3 different ways. With the two extra extensions, the length spans from 15.5 inches to 17 and to 19 inches. It is probably one of the most versatile pieces of jewelry we've carried. Each extension works perfectly, and closes with a good click sound when connected. The collar can be worn on its own, or a locket/pendant can be hung at its original hook in one of the extensions. (shown in the first photo.) 
The collar bears a Swedish hallmark (3 crowns), 18k mark and a makers mark of 'Lars Larsson & Co' (L.L&C) Göteborg. Overall this piece is in great condition without any damage or a dent.
