An early 19th century high karat gold ring with a hand motif. Most likely in the form of 'Fede' - the name 'Fede' originates from an Italian word which means faith, and it symbolizes love, friendship and trust. The motif was also often used for the message of betrothal. The ring is English in origin, and overall in great condition with old patina in gold.
