Early Victorian Paste Leaf Earrings

Early Victorian Paste Leaf Earrings

C.1840.  A very pretty pair of early Victorian paste earrings with a leaf motif. The nicely crafted, curved body of the leaf dangles from the paste solitaire, and it gives subtle movement as it swings from the ears. Some paste stones in the leaf are slightly discolored and might have been replaced in antiquity. Overall, the earrings are in good and wearable condition, and feature new 15k gold ear wires.

Total Drop: Approximately 1 3/8” (including the front wire)
