C.1860-1870. A striking Italian Grand Tour silver bangle with the micromosaic. One side displays the word, ROMA in raised lettering with granulation details and fine wire work. There are no missing details, and the letters remain crisp. And the other side is adorned with unique two-toned black and white micromosaics, depicting cherubs, horses, chariots and Helios. The bangle opens and closes with a cylinder bar pin on the side, and the closure is secure. Overall the bangle is in excellent condition with the natural patina in sterling silver.
