C.1890. A late Victorian banded agate chain necklace. The necklace is 15k yellow gold, and has beautifully carved eight banded agate beads. The beads are placed evenly between each link. The links are semi-flexible. The spring clasp is original, and you can hang a locket or a pendant, although the chain looks great on its own. This piece still feels very chic and modern after nearly 130 years. It has a timeless design that can go with many other pieces. The origin is English, and overall it is in a great condition.
