A spectacular pair of Victorian banded agate and gold ear pendants. The elongated, amphora-shaped banded agate drops are suspended from gold bars. The flared gold bars are mounted between the top agate beads and the bottom amphora drops. The top agate bead is set with a half hoop of gold, framed with a half-bar; the earrings are very well constructed and show a striking and sophisticated design. Each earring displays the natural elements of the agate stones, yet the patterns and colors do match beautifully. The combination of black, ivory, brown, and caramel colors are absolutely magnificent. Immaculately preserved with no damage, these are a quality pair in 15k gold. They move beautifully when worn, and are not heavy.
