Victorian Chunky Sterling Chain with Locket and Pendant

Victorian Chunky Sterling Chain with Locket and Pendant

C.1890. Victorian chunky link sterling silver chain matched with a late Victorian aesthetic movement locket and a rather curious pendant (unknown origin). This handsome sterling silver chain consists of engraved large links, and has two large bolt rings placed at the top and the bottom of the necklace. With the two bolt rings, the necklace/chain can be turned into two matched bracelets. The front of the oval locket shows an engraved image of a stork picking up a small animal, and inside, there is an empty compartment with glass; It shuts with a good snap. The locket and the pendant can easily be detached from the spring bolt lock, and the chain itself can also be worn as a wonderful necklace. This whole set was found as they are, and is offered as found.
