A mid-Victorian heraldic 'shell' intaglio signet ring. The ring is crafted in 15k gold, and a shell is beautifully carved on an oval shaped bloodstone. We love the chunky knots that make the handsome shoulders. The ring looks fabulous as a pinky ring. Currently it is US size 3.5-4 with two sizing beads inside (shown in the photo), and the ring is easily resizable. It is English in origin, and overall in very good condition with the natural patina in gold.
