A small octagonal 'D' gold signet ring. The ring is crafted in rich and buttery 22k gold. It is fully English hallmarked- Birmingham, 22k and the year 1935 (letter L) with the makers' mark 'H.G & S'. It is rarer to see this type of ring in 22k gold. The ones that are commonly made were in lower karat golds (9, 15 or 18k). There are hand-engraved dates on the back of the face: 21-6-01, 12-5-36.
The current size of the ring is 5 and resizable easily within moderation. The north to south measurement (face) is approximately 8.3mm. The ring is small yet characteristic. With its scale, we think it could be a lovely pinky ring, however we will leave it up to the wearer. Overall the ring is in great condition.
