C. 1830–1840, a beautiful Swiss enamel and 18k gold chain featuring alternating links of repoussé gold and vibrant enamel. Fully decorated on both sides, the enamel links show a fine floral motif with multicolor detailing, while the gold links display a detailed botanical and scrollwork design.

Its versatile total length of 39.5 inches and 5mm link width allow the chain to be comfortably doubled or elegantly styled as a single strand. Because the links are delicate rather than overpowering, the chain pairs effortlessly with a variety of lockets or pendants. The 18k gold dog clip is in good working order and bears a French charançon import hallmark. Overall, the chain is in very good antique condition.
