A beautiful pair of antique Persian gold and enamel earrings. The earrings date to the early 19th century (Qajar period, 1789-1925). Each earring is slightly different, and they are adorned with colorful enameling and pearls & gold leaf fringes at the bottom. The earrings test around 22 karat. The 14k ear wires are new, and we added the top orbs to enhance the balance. Each earring has one small replacement leaf at the bottom, yet it is hardly noticeable when worn since it is one of a bundle. (shown in the photo.) There are some enamel losses due to the age. The earrings hang beautifully, and overall in good and wearable condition.
Total Drop: Approximately 1.85 & 1.90” (including the front wire)
