C.1860. A spectacular Victorian era micromosaic pendant. The pendant is large and set in 18k gold. The micro tesserae are deliberately assembled, and it feels smooth to the touch on its surface, which is an evidence of a fine quality mosaic piece. The pendant has a gorgeous color palette of aqua blue and white. And it has the motifs of a dove, a grape bunch, flowers and an anchor, which are the symbols of christianity that were often used in 19th century micromosaic jewelry.
