Circa 1920-1930s. A delightful diamond donkey brooch. The donkey carries a gem-set yellow gold basket and a gold saddle. This beautifully crafted brooch is housed in its original box from Charles Packer & Co. Ltd. of Regent Street, London, which operated between 1917 and 1932.
Crafted in 18k gold and silver, the brooch is in great overall condition with a natural patina. The diamonds are set in an open-back setting, and the clasp features a smart double-lock mechanism that is in excellent working order, ensuring security. The gems display very pretty and vibrant hues. We absolutely adore this little donkey—a total charmer that’s perfect for both men and women. The original box retains a secure click closure.
