Circa 1930. A delightful diamond donkey brooch pin. The donkey carries a gem-set yellow gold basket and a gold saddle. This beautifully made brooch is housed in its original box from Charles Packer & Co. Ltd. of Regent Street, London, operating between 1917 and 1932. The diamonds are set in an open-back setting, and the clasp features a smart double-lock mechanism that is in good working order, ensuring security. The gems display very pretty and vibrant hues. We absolutely adore this little donkey – a total charmer that's perfect for both men and women. Crafted in 18k gold and silver, the brooch is in great overall condition with a natural patina. The original box retains a secure click closure.
