A beautiful and curious early 19th century papier-mâché snuff box. The details of the shoe have been completed in silver inlay. The lid has a very finely painted miniature painting of a lady wearing a big field hat and carrying flower baskets.
Overall this piece is in very good condition. Some light crazing shows. The lid shuts with a good snap.
Measurements: Approximately 3.25” long x 1.25” high
