C.1820. English in Origin. A rose cut diamond ring sporting a typically Georgian ornate 15k gold band. The ring is set with twelve rose cut diamonds surrounding a large rose cut diamond center stone.
The larger stone measures over 5 mm in diameter and spreads just shy of half a carat. The smaller diamonds spread two to three points each, but due to their cut, estimating the actual weight of the diamonds is impossible. The shank has thinned over the years towards the middle of the back, but it is in fully wearable condition. There is no significant loss of value or damage. It is a lovely Georgian rose cut diamond ring.
