C.1820. A Georgian gem set pansy brooch. This tiny beauty is foiled back set with amethyst, aquamarine, garnet and citrine, and reflects lights beautifully. It has a lovely sentiment as a pansy flower symbolizes 'remembrance' or 'thinking of you': coming from the French word, 'pense', which means 'think'. The brooch has the original c-clasp. It is rosy 9k gold, and overall in very good condition.
Size: Approximately 17mm x 19mm (the flower without the pin)
