A beautiful and classic Victorian black enamel mourning ring with its own original box. The ring consists of 10 panels, and each shows a letter for 'IN MEMORY OF' in gothic script. The inner band shows the elaborately done inscription- George Green Esq; Ob, 21st Feb, 1849 Aet 81. The ring is 18k gold, and contains the full English hallmarks: makers mark of J.B, 18 (18k gold), 1848. 

The 'I' panel shows a partially matte area, but is hardly noticeable.  Overall the ring is in great condition.
