C.1860-1870. An utterly stunning large statement amphora pendant. The pendant is crafted with a finely carved lapis lazuli and intricate 18k gold work. The original bale is still intact, and the sizable scale of it can accommodate various chunky gold chains or a thick leather cord. The model in the last image is wearing the pendant with an antique gas pipe chain that also works beautifully. The details of gold granulations and wirework add quality to the piece, and the pendant looks striking when it is worn. The lapis lazuli stone displays a deep navy blue color with a natural and organic pattern to it. The gold feels rich and warm with the patina that has been gained over 150 years. This piece has a 'Turin' hallmark with a letter 'F' or 'P': Restricted warranty mark for gold 750/1000 (18k gold) and 'F' for Ferrara or 'P' for Perugia.
This pendant is overall in great condition without missing any gold work.
