C.1830. A very charming late Georgian snake/ouroboros ring with a diamond. The ring is 18k yellow gold, and has silver-set cushion cut diamond on the snake's head. We love how the body is hand-engraved for the texture, and the gold granulations complete the face & body details. The diamond seems that it once had a closed foiled back, but got removed earlier for open-back setting. The ring is most likely English in origin, and overall the ring is in good condition.
