C.1890-1900. A beautiful and versatile Victorian gold chain. The chain is warm 18k yellow gold, and each link is made with the 'lovers knot' motif. Most likely the chain is a half sautoir, and now it measures approximately 27 inches with the 5mm width. The chain goes well with many different lockets or pendants, and it feels substantial in this proportion with the weight of 24.42 grams. The clasp has been replaced at some point, and it now has an old 18k gold small spring ring. We found the chain as it is. Overall the chain is in great condition with natural patina in gold.
