C.1880. A beautiful pair of Victorian banded agate snake earrings. Simple and easy to wear. The top part (snake) continues to be the ear wire. The bottom part is a single banded agate orb. And both earrings have a consistent banding pattern, and colors correspond beautifully. Snake represents love and eternity in Victorian symbolism.
The earrings are 18k yellow gold, and overall in great condition with natural patina in gold.
