C.1870. Victorian bulls eye agate and snake gold earrings. Each earring is formed with a bulls eye agate and a mounted coiled snake. These were originally buttons, and later got converted into earrings. They are 15k gold, and the ear wires are 14k gold. The well-proportioned bulls eye agate stones show the rich contrast of black and white colors. The snakes are finely crafted with the detailed texture. With its small scale, the earrings are easy to wear and lightweight. Overall in great condition.
