C. 1870s. A delightful Victorian shell-motif earrings and brooch suite. Crafted in 15k yellow gold, the beautifully bloomed gold displays a warm and rich tone, and the details of the shell are crisp. 
We particularly love the saturated combination of the gold with the orange coral beads. The beads are plump, and their shape and scale correspond harmoniously with the overall design.
The brooch (7.74 grams) measures approximately 1.20 inches in diameter and features a secure fitting with a safety clasp. The earrings have a diameter of approximately 0.70 inches each (2.3 grams per earring), making them lightweight and easy to wear. This suite is English in origin, and overall, it is in great condition and ready to be worn.
