With truly intricate gold work, this mid-Victorian Etruscan revival pendant was made in the 1870s. The piece is beautifully crafted with geometric shape elements. The black & white hardstone cameo depicts a profile of a neoclassical warrior. The gold wire details and granulation work is exceptional. It tests 18-20k gold throughout. The total drop is approximately 2.65" (67mm) including the top bail, and the width is 0.98" (25mm) at the widest. Overall the pendant is in great condition.
