C.1870-1880. A gorgeous pair of Victorian tortoiseshell drop earrings. These hand carved earrings are beautifully articulated, and three drops give movement when worn. The unique yet timeless design like this is the reason why we love Victorian jewelry. These earrings still feel modern nearly after 150 years.
The material is slightly semi-translucent, and have a deep dark brown tone well mixed with rich auburn color. These are lightweight and easy to wear. The ear wires test 15k gold. Overall the earrings are in great condition.
