Early Victorian Turquoise and Diamond, Bow, Hand and Wreath Necklace
An early Victorian pavé turquoise and diamond necklace. This necklace is full of sentimental Victorian symbolism- a bow and a hand holding a wreath of 'forget-me-not' flowers represent love and remembrance. Each motif is beautifully crafted, capturing every detail. The diamonds are set in silver top, and the necklace is 18k gold. The snake chain feels smooth without any damage, and the matching colored barrel clasp in blue enamel completes the necklace. The blue enamel has been kept immaculately. The clasp is secure, and it opens and closes with a good click sound. The chain measures 15.5 inches, and the total drop of the pendant (from the bow to the bottom of the wreath) measures approximately 1.75 inches. The widest part of the pendant is approximately 0.90 inches at the bow. Overall the necklace is in great condition with the natural patina.
